The Proceedings of the African Classical Associations

The Proceedings of the African Classical Associations (ISSN: 0555-3059):

The Proceedings of the African Classical Associations was a journal published annually by the Classical Association of Central Africa with the assistance of the Salisbury Arts Council and the Salisbury Hellenic Community in Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) between 1958 and 1983.

The journal was designed “to provide the universities of the African Continent with a classical journal of their own” and contributions were particularly welcomed from scholars in Africa. The journal encouraged original contributions in any aspect of Greek or Roman studies, and covered a range of topics from classical antiquity.

There have been two supplements by T.F. Carney: 1, A Biography of C. Marius (1962), and 2, Terence, Hecyra, ed. with comm. (1963).
